3M Strategic Account Manager

The 3M Strategic Account Manager is responsible for the continuing growth within the 3M and affiliated Contract Manufacturers.  Will need to identify new opportunities to sell all our products and services that are offered by Lofton Label, Inc. Represent Lofton Label Inc. by interacting with major contacts at 3M.

Responsibilities

  • Manage 3M account portfolio.
  • Establish strong, long-term client relationships.
  • Communicate with major 3M contacts on a regular basis and respond to specific queries. This includes estimating new projects, negotiation, and contractual involvement.
  • Track and follow up on all estimates, site visits and calls using CRM.
  • Work closely with internal Project Management, Release Engineering, Estimators, Graphics, Materials Manager, Equipment Division Manager, Technical Sales Specialists, and other departments as needed.
  • Suggest solutions and innovative ideas to meet client needs.
  • Monitor performance metrics.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and forecasts.
  • Report complaints and problems in a timely and effective manner.
  • Maintain mileage and expense account records.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Skills

  • Previous experience supporting 3M products preferred.
  • Proven work experience as a Strategic account manager or Key account manager. Can plan, organize, direct, delegate, control, and be a leader.
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics.
  • Ability to address customer requests in a timely manner.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building strong client relationships.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a problem-solving attitude.
  • Have a firm understanding of pressure sensitive & flexible packaging industry is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Availability to travel as needed.
